K9028 Kids Leisure Sunglasses

Kids who ride deserve proper eye protection too. The KAPVOE K9028 Kids Leisure Sunglasses offer young cyclists reliable shielding from harsh Indian sun, road dust, and glare — whether riding to school in Chennai, pedalling weekend trails near Pune, or joining a family cycle tour through Coorg. A well-fitted, protective frame makes every ride safer and more comfortable for growing riders. Cobbled Climbs is the exclusive Indian distributor for Lightweight in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Protective eyewear for sun, dust, and insect protection on Indian roads.

Race day. Wide-coverage frames with race-tuned lenses for visibility and aerodynamic fit.

Variable conditions. Photochromic or interchangeable lenses for varied light through Ghat tunnels and dawn-to-day rides.

Our Take

Indian conditions are unforgiving — even for kids. Summer sun in Delhi or Hyderabad regularly pushes past 40°C, and dusty roads from Ahmedabad to the Deccan plateau demand real eye protection, not toy-grade tints. The KAPVOE K9028 is designed for younger riders who need secure, lightweight coverage without the bulk of adult frames. Available in Red Black and Blue, these are kid-friendly without sacrificing function.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The K9028 is sized specifically for children, making it a better fit than adult sunglasses pushed onto smaller faces. European children's sizing tends to run slightly wider than average Indian kids' faces, so check the frame width before ordering. The adjustable nose pads help dial in fit for narrower nose bridges common across Indian children.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with most children's cycling helmets — confirm temple arm clearance with your specific helmet model. Clean lenses with a microfibre cloth only; avoid paper towels or harsh chemicals that scratch lens coatings. Store in a protective case when not in use to maintain lens quality.

Pairs Well With

Complete your child's riding setup with a well-ventilated kids' cycling helmet, a microfibre lens cleaning cloth, a protective hard eyewear case for school bags and travel, and a lightweight kids' cycling cap for added sun protection under the helmet.
