K9028 Kids Sunglasses

Getting young riders out on the road means making sure they are protected from day one. The Kapvoe K9028 is a kids' cycling sunglass built to handle India's intense sun, dust-heavy roads, and variable light — whether your child is riding in a Pune neighbourhood, along Chennai's coastal paths, or tackling a family Lonavala loop on a bright Sunday morning.

Use Cases

Daily training. Protective eyewear for sun, dust, and insect protection on Indian roads.

Race day. Wide-coverage frames with race-tuned lenses for visibility and aerodynamic fit.

Variable conditions. Photochromic or interchangeable lenses for varied light through Ghat tunnels and dawn-to-day rides.

Our Take

For young riders in India, eye protection is not an afterthought. Sun intensity, road dust, and the occasional insect make quality eyewear essential even for short rides. The K9028 offers a kids-specific frame sizing and non-polarised lens that keeps colour and contrast accurate — useful for reading road surfaces and spotting potholes. Available in Red Black and Blue White, it is a practical, cheerful pick for riders aged roughly 6–12. At Rs. 2,350 with free delivery above Rs. 2,500, it is accessible family kit.

Sizing for Indian Riders

These are designed specifically for children, not scaled-down adult frames. Kids' faces in India tend to sit on the narrower end of global sizing charts, and the K9028's dedicated kids fit accounts for that. Check temple arm length if your child uses a helmet regularly — clearance matters for comfort on longer rides. No adjustable nose pad details are confirmed in source data, so try the fit carefully before longer outings.

Compatibility Notes

The K9028 is unisex and suits kids across age groups where frame sizing fits. Non-polarised lenses mean no interference with screen-based bike computers or GPS devices. Compatible with most kids' cycling helmets — verify temple arm clearance against your child's specific helmet model. Clean lenses with a microfibre cloth only; avoid paper towels or chemical sprays that scratch coatings.

Pairs Well With

Round out your young rider's kit with a well-ventilated kids' cycling helmet, a lightweight UV-protective jersey for hot-weather rides, a microfibre lens cleaning cloth, and a compact hard-shell carrying case to protect the frame between rides.
