Lamp Rm 1 Saddle Rail Bracket

Attaching a rear light securely to your saddle rails is a small detail that matters enormously on Indian roads — where potholes, speed bumps, and monsoon-slicked surfaces are the norm. The Cateye Lamp RM 1 Saddle Rail Bracket is a dedicated mounting solution that fixes a Cateye rear light directly to your saddle rails, keeping your seatpost free and your light positioned low and visible to traffic behind you.

Use Cases

Daily training. All-day comfort across 2-3 hour training rides in Indian conditions.

Race day. Race-cut profile with cutout for time-trial and aggressive fit positions.

Long endurance rides. Pressure-relief construction for rides exceeding four hours.

Our Take

Indian roads demand reliable rear visibility. Whether you are navigating Pune's congested evening traffic, grinding up the Ghats on a weekend ride, or commuting through Chennai's humid evenings, a light that stays put matters. The Cateye RM 1 Saddle Rail Bracket gives your rear light a stable, low-profile home on the saddle rails — freeing up seatpost real estate for a saddle bag while keeping the light exactly where it belongs. A practical, well-made bracket at a price that makes sense.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a hardware mounting bracket rather than an apparel item, so European sizing does not apply. What does matter is saddle rail diameter — most road and MTB saddles use standard-diameter rails that the RM 1 is designed to accommodate. If you ride a saddle with carbon or titanium rails, confirm compatibility before ordering. Contact Cobbled Climbs if you are unsure about your specific saddle setup.

Compatibility Notes

The Cateye RM 1 Saddle Rail Bracket is designed for use with compatible Cateye rear lights. It mounts to standard saddle rails. It is not compatible with all saddle models — particularly those with non-standard rail profiles. Check your Cateye light model against Cateye's compatibility list to confirm the RM 1 bracket is the correct accessory for your light unit.

Pairs Well With

Complete your safety and storage setup by pairing this bracket with a Cateye rear light, a compact saddle bag for tools and spares, a front cycling light for night commutes, and a reflective cycling gilet for low-light visibility on early-morning or evening rides around Delhi or Hyderabad.
