Light Tpu Presta Tube Aluminium Valve 700x18-32c

Inner tubes rarely get the attention they deserve, yet a poor choice can end a ride in minutes. The Ridenow Light TPU Presta Tube with aluminium valve is built for 700c wheels running tyres between 18-32mm — covering road bikes, hybrids, and fast commuters across India's varied surfaces, from Pune's potholed city roads to the smooth switchbacks above Lonavala.

Use Cases

Spare on rides. Backup tube to carry on Indian rides where puncture risk is high.

Lightweight setup. TPU tubes for weight-conscious race day or competitive efforts.

Standard fitment. Butyl tubes for daily training and reliable long-term use.

Our Take

TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) tubes are lighter and more puncture-resistant than standard butyl tubes, making them a smart upgrade for Indian riders who face sharp road debris, cracked tarmac, and hot asphalt that softens budget tubes. In Chennai and Hyderabad summers where pavement temperatures exceed 50°C, a quality TPU tube holds pressure more consistently than bargain alternatives. At Rs. 1,150, this is a performance upgrade that genuinely earns its place in your kit bag.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This tube is sized for 700c wheels with tyre widths from 18mm to 32mm — ideal for road bikes and hybrid setups common in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. Most Indian riders running 25c-28c road tyres or 32c hybrid tyres fall comfortably within this range. The aluminium Presta valve is lighter than brass alternatives and fits standard road rims without modification.

Compatibility Notes

Fits 700c hooked rims with Presta valve holes. Compatible with tyres from 18mm to 32mm width. Not suitable for tubeless-only setups. Ensure your rim has a Presta valve hole (narrow) rather than a Schrader (wide) hole. TPU material requires slightly lower installation force than butyl — avoid metal tyre levers near the tube during fitting to prevent damage.

Pairs Well With

Complete your flat-repair setup with a quality floor pump or portable mini pump, a set of plastic tyre levers, CO2 inflators for quick roadside fixes on long climbs, and a compact saddle bag to carry a spare tube on every ride. A tyre patch kit rounds out your emergency kit.
