Light Tpu Presta Tube Aluminium Valve 700x28-38c

India's roads demand more from inner tubes than most. From the potholed stretches of Pune's outskirts to the smooth climbs of Ooty and the monsoon-soaked lanes of Kolkata, a quality tube needs to hold pressure, resist pinch flats, and stay light enough not to slow you down. The Ridenow Light TPU Presta Tube for 700x28-38c wheels delivers all three.

Use Cases

Spare on rides. Backup tube to carry on Indian rides where puncture risk is high.

Lightweight setup. TPU tubes for weight-conscious race day or competitive efforts.

Standard fitment. Butyl tubes for daily training and reliable long-term use.

Our Take

TPU tubes have earned genuine respect among Indian riders who want a meaningful weight saving without going fully tubeless. This RideNow offering suits the 700x28-38c range, making it ideal for road bikes and light hybrids tackling Pune's varied terrain or Delhi's long training loops. The aluminium Presta valve is a thoughtful touch — durable, easy to inflate at any roadside pump with an adapter, and less prone to bending than plastic alternatives in India's heat.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This tube is designed for 700c wheels fitted with tyres between 28mm and 38mm wide — a range that covers most road and light gravel setups popular across India. If you ride a standard road bike with 28-32mm tyres or a hybrid with 35-38mm tyres, this tube fits. Do not use with tyres outside this width range, as stretching or underinflation risks blowouts, especially at 35°C+ summer temperatures.

Compatibility Notes

Fits 700c rims with Presta valve holes only — not compatible with Schrader valve rims without an adapter. Works with hooked and hookless-compatible rim profiles. Suitable for tubed setups; not a tubeless solution. TPU material requires careful installation — avoid pinching during fitting, especially with tyre levers, to prevent micro-tears that reduce lifespan.

Pairs Well With

Complete your puncture-ready kit with a quality floor pump and portable mini-pump for rides to Lonavala or Khandala. Add CO2 inflators for fast roadside fixes, a set of tyre levers for clean installations, and a puncture patch kit as backup. Browse compatible accessories at Cobbled Climbs.
