Link Pliers

A broken chain link on a climb in Lonavala or a remote stretch near Coorg is not where you want to be unprepared. The Birzman Link Pliers is a compact, purpose-built workshop and field tool designed to open and close master links cleanly — making chain repairs faster, more reliable, and less frustrating wherever your ride takes you across India. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for 100% in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

Chain repairs done without the right pliers often result in damaged master links or improperly closed joints — a safety risk at any speed. The Birzman Link Pliers solves this with a dedicated design that grips links securely for both opening and closing. For riders tackling the Western Ghats or long Pune–Mumbai training loops, this small addition to your saddle bag pays off the moment a chain gives way mid-ride in 35°C+ heat.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The Birzman Link Pliers is a universal hand tool — no body sizing applies. It is compact enough to fit in most saddle bags and jersey pockets without adding noticeable bulk. Indian riders carrying monsoon gear or layering for Leh or Ooty conditions will find it sits easily alongside other essential roadside kit without crowding the bag.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with standard master links across most speed groupsets from major drivetrain brands including Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo. Verify your chain's master link type before relying on any link pliers in the field. All Birzman products at Cobbled Climbs are 100% genuine and authorised for India.
