Lumino Urban Mens Cycling Vest

The Abus Lumino Urban Mens Cycling Vest is built for riders who push through India's demanding conditions — whether that's the humid heat of Chennai in May, sudden Pune rain showers, or the relentless sun on a Coorg climb. Technical moisture-wicking fabric, a silicone hem gripper, and durable construction make this vest a reliable choice for commuters and weekend riders alike.

Use Cases

Variable temperature rides. Wind-blocking front for cool morning starts that warm up during the ride.

Race day layering. Light-weight gilet that fits under a jersey or over a base layer without restricting movement.

Pre-monsoon and post-monsoon. Adds wind protection for transitional weather riding in Mumbai, Pune, and Bengaluru.

Our Take

At Rs. 2,275, the Lumino Urban punches well above its price point for Indian conditions. The moisture-wicking fabric handles 35°C+ heat with genuine competence, and the breathable construction manages humidity spikes that would make a lesser vest cling uncomfortably. The silicone hem gripper is a small detail that matters enormously on longer efforts — no mid-ride adjustments needed. A solid pick for daily commuters in Delhi or Hyderabad and weekend group riders heading to Lonavala or Khandala.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Abus follows European sizing, which cuts slimmer than most Indian or Asian brands. If you typically wear a Medium in Indian apparel, order a Large in Abus. Riders above 90kg or with broader shoulders should size up without hesitation. In India's heat, a slightly relaxed fit also improves airflow, so erring toward the larger size is generally the right call.

Compatibility Notes

Works across road, gravel, MTB, and urban commuting. Pairs well with Abus base layers and arm warmers for a consistent fit. Machine wash at 30°C with mild detergent — skip fabric softener as it degrades moisture-wicking properties. Hang to dry; avoid tumble drying. During monsoon season, store completely dry to prevent mildew.

Pairs Well With

Complete your kit with bib shorts for a matched, comfortable fit on longer rides. Add UV-protective arm sleeves for sun coverage on exposed climbs. A well-ventilated road helmet improves cooling on hot days, and a quality cycling cap under your helmet manages sweat effectively on Mumbai or Delhi commutes.
