Bottle

Staying hydrated on long rides in India is not optional — it is performance-critical. Whether you are grinding up the Western Ghats above Lonavala, pushing through Chennai's coastal humidity, or clocking early-morning kilometres in Pune's summer heat, the MAAP Bottle is built to keep you drinking consistently and comfortably throughout your ride.

Use Cases

Daily training. On-bike hydration for road, gravel, or MTB training rides.

Long climbs. Reliable cage-compatible design for Western Ghats, Nilgiris, or Sahyadri climbs.

Race day. Quick-access valve and frame-cage compatibility for competitive efforts.

Our Take

Indian summers are unforgiving. Rides above 35°C — common in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Delhi from April through June — demand a bottle you can trust. The MAAP Bottle reflects the brand's commitment to functional, well-considered kit: a clean squeeze action, secure cage fit, and a lid that stays closed on rough roads. At Rs. 2,400, it is a sensible investment that matches the quality of your other MAAP gear on the bike.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Bidons do not size like jerseys, but bottle capacity matters on longer efforts. For rides under two hours, a standard-capacity bottle per cage is sufficient. For four-hour-plus efforts in summer heat — think Coorg climbs or a Leh touring day — consider carrying two bottles and supplementing with electrolyte tablets to offset sweat loss in high-humidity conditions.

Compatibility Notes

The MAAP Bottle is designed to fit standard cycling bottle cages. Verify compatibility if you use proprietary aero cage systems or deep-section frame mounts. The bottle is made from food-grade, BPA-free plastic. Hand wash with a bottle brush and mild detergent; air dry inverted to prevent mildew during monsoon months when humidity accelerates buildup.

Pairs Well With

Complete your hydration and nutrition setup with a quality bottle cage (carbon or alloy), electrolyte drink mix or tablets suited to Indian heat, a cycling-specific saddle bag or top-tube bag for nutrition storage, and a lightweight gilet for early-morning or Ooty-altitude temperature swings.
