Maillot Jaune Mount Ventoux Gloves

The Santini Maillot Jaune Mount Ventoux Gloves carry the spirit of cycling's most legendary climb into your everyday ride. Named after the iconic Tour de France stage mountain, these gloves are built for riders who take their kit seriously — whether you're grinding up the Western Ghats outside Pune or logging early-morning laps around Hyderabad's Hussain Sagar lake in 35°C heat. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Time in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Padded palms and wicking back for repeat use on training rides.

Long endurance rides. Vibration-dampening and grip support for full-day rides over rough Indian tarmac.

Cold weather riding. Insulated construction for Delhi winter and high-altitude rides.

Our Take

Santini's Maillot Jaune range celebrates Tour de France heritage, and these Mount Ventoux gloves bring that prestige to Indian roads. In conditions where sweat-soaked palms lose grip on descents and prolonged saddle time punishes bare skin, a well-constructed glove becomes essential equipment. The blue colourway is sharp, and the cycling-specific cut means no bunching at the knuckles on long rides through Lonavala or up the Nilgiris toward Ooty.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Santini follows Italian/European sizing. Indian riders, who often have wider palms relative to hand length, should measure hand circumference and compare against Santini's official size chart before ordering. When in doubt, size up by one — a slightly roomier glove is far more comfortable than one that restricts circulation during a two-hour climb. Sizing up also accommodates glove liner use in cooler hill-station conditions like Coorg or Leh.

Compatibility Notes

These gloves suit road, gravel, and sportive riding across all handlebar types. Machine washable at 30°C with a mild detergent — hang dry and avoid fabric softener to preserve technical fabric performance. They pair naturally with other pieces in Santini's Maillot Jaune collection if you want a coordinated kit.
