Mana2 Carbon Handlebar

Cockpit components shape every ride — fatigue, control, and aerodynamics all pass through your handlebar. On Indian roads, where patched tarmac, broken surfaces, and long climbs through Lonavala or the Western Ghats add relentless vibration, the choice of bar material matters as much as geometry. The Chapter 2 Mana2 Carbon Handlebar is built for riders who refuse to compromise on the contact point that connects body to bike. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Time in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Comfortable reach and bar shape for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic profile and compact drop for competitive fit.

Long endurance rides. Multiple hand positions for fatigue management on full-day rides.

Our Take

Carbon construction gives the Mana2 a clear advantage on India's demanding road surfaces — the material naturally damps high-frequency buzz that wears hands and arms on extended rides. Whether you're grinding through Pune's weekend training routes or pushing pace on Hyderabad's ring roads, the Mana2 delivers a more composed feel than aluminium alternatives. A meaningful upgrade for serious road cyclists who spend real time in the drops.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Measure shoulder-to-shoulder and match that figure to your bar width — most Indian riders fall between 38cm and 44cm. In India's heat, sweaty palms affect grip, so a bar that positions your hands naturally reduces fatigue. Reach and drop dimensions also determine back angle; riders with tighter flexibility often prefer a compact drop profile for long days in the saddle.

Compatibility Notes

The Mana2 uses a standard 31.8mm clamp diameter, compatible with the vast majority of road stems. It works with Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo shifter clamps. For carbon bars, always use a torque wrench and observe the manufacturer's specified torque limit — overtightening causes irreversible damage. Replace after any significant crash impact, even without visible marks.

Pairs Well With

Complete your cockpit with a quality bar tape that manages sweat in humid conditions, a compatible road stem sized to your reach, cycling gloves for vibration absorption on rough surfaces, and a precision torque wrench for safe installation at the correct specification.
