Maq Riser G Home Trainer Parts

The Minoura Maq Riser G is a front wheel riser block designed for home trainer setups, levelling your bike when the rear wheel is mounted on a trainer. A small but essential part, it keeps your riding position natural and your bike stable during indoor sessions — whether you're grinding through monsoon weeks in Pune or avoiding Delhi's punishing summer heat.

Use Cases

Indoor training. Structured workouts via Zwift, TrainerRoad, or Wahoo SYSTM.

Race day prep. Smart-trainer simulation of race-day power demands.

Year-round training. Indoor riding through Indian monsoon, peak heat, and pollution-heavy days.

Our Take

Indian cyclists increasingly train indoors during the June–September monsoon and the brutal April–June heat. A riser block like the Maq Riser G is often overlooked but genuinely improves comfort on long sessions by correcting the front-to-rear height difference when your rear wheel is improved on a trainer. At Rs. 790, it's an affordable upgrade that makes extended Zwift rides noticeably more comfortable for riders across Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The Maq Riser G is a universal-fit accessory designed to accommodate standard road and mountain bike front wheels. No size selection is required for most setups. If your bike has an unusually wide tyre, confirm wheel width compatibility before ordering. Contact Cobbled Climbs for guidance if you're unsure about fit with your specific bike.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with Minoura trainers and most third-party home trainers. Works with standard road and MTB wheel sizes. Designed as a replacement or additional riser block for trainer setups. No tools required for use. Wipe clean with a dry cloth — avoid prolonged moisture exposure, particularly during humid monsoon months.

Pairs Well With

Complete your indoor training setup with a quality home trainer (direct-drive or wheel-on), a training mat to protect floors and reduce vibration, a sweat guard to shield your frame, and a high-velocity desk fan for airflow during hot Indian summers.
