Meilenstein EVO DISC Wheelset

At Rs. 5,96,000, the Lightweight Meilenstein EVO DISC Wheelset sits at the very top of what road cycling engineering can offer. Built for riders who demand the absolute best — whether on the smooth tarmac of the Mumbai–Pune Expressway, the punishing Ghat climbs above Lonavala, or the long open roads stretching toward Hyderabad — this is a wheelset that changes how a bike communicates with the road beneath it.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable rim and reliable hub bearings for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic depth and weight-optimised construction for competitive efforts.

All-rounder. Versatile depth and width for road, gravel, or all-road riding.

Our Take

The Lightweight Meilenstein EVO DISC is, simply, among the finest wheelsets in the world. For Indian riders tackling Western Ghats climbs where every saved gram rewards on switchbacks, or pushing speed on flat expressway segments in Delhi or Chennai, the precision bearing placement and full carbon construction deliver a ride quality nothing else can match. This is a once-in-a-decade purchase — buy it right and it will outlast multiple bikes.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Wheelset fit means matching three things: axle standard (thru-axle dimensions vary — confirm your frame spec), disc rotor interface (Centerlock or 6-bolt), and cassette body compatibility (Shimano HG, SRAM XDR, or Campagnolo). India's heat above 35°C and monsoon-season humidity have no adverse effect on full carbon rims, but confirm tyre clearance for your frame before ordering.

Compatibility Notes

Designed for disc brake systems only — not compatible with rim brake frames. Confirm thru-axle dimensions precisely with your frame and fork manufacturer. Cassette body choice (Shimano HG, SRAM XDR, or Campagnolo) must be specified at order. Tubeless-ready construction supports modern tubeless tyre setups; use quality sealant and tubeless valves. Follow Lightweight's recommended bearing service intervals to maintain performance.

Pairs Well With

Complete your build with premium road tyres matched to the rim width, a quality tubeless conversion kit including sealant and valves, a calibrated torque wrench for correct installation, and a lightweight carbon-compatible chain lubricant suited for India's monsoon and dust conditions.
