Us-s Clipless Pedals

The MKS Pedals Us-s Clipless Pedals brings Japanese precision engineering to mountain and hybrid riders across India. Built from aluminium and metal with a 2-bolt SPD-compatible cleat system, these silver pedals are a confident choice for riders who demand reliable engagement on everything from Pune's rough city roads to the switchbacks above Ooty and the dusty trails around Hyderabad. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Mks Pedal in India.

Our Take

MKS has been making pedals in Japan for decades, and the Us-s reflects that heritage — solid construction, dependable cleat engagement, and bearings built to handle heat and humidity. For mountain and hybrid riders tackling India's variable surfaces, from Chennai's coastal roads to the Western Ghats climbs near Lonavala, this pedal offers trustworthy power transfer without unnecessary complexity. At Rs. 8,395, it represents genuine value for a Japanese-made component.

Sizing for Indian Riders

These pedals use a standard 2-bolt SPD cleat mount, so confirm your cycling shoes have the 2-bolt recessed sole pattern before ordering. Most mountain and hybrid shoes sold in India are SPD-compatible. Axle thread is the industry-standard 9/16-inch, fitting almost every crank arm. Riders with wider feet should check cleat positioning carefully to avoid knee discomfort in India's sustained heat above 35°C.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with 2-bolt SPD cleat pattern shoes only — not suitable for 3-bolt SPD-SL or Look road shoes. Standard 9/16-inch axle thread fits most cranks. Service bearings periodically, especially after monsoon riding when grit and moisture accelerate wear. Clean cleat retention mechanism regularly with compressed air to maintain reliable engagement.

Pairs Well With

Complete your clipless setup with SPD-compatible mountain or hybrid cycling shoes, a set of spare replacement cleats, a quality pedal spanner for installation, and waterproof shoe covers for riding through India's monsoon season. All available at Cobbled Climbs with free delivery on orders above Rs. 2,500.
