Mtf15/20 12x100mm Thru Axle DISC Brake Front Hub

Building a reliable wheel starts with a quality hub, and for Indian riders dealing with everything from smooth Delhi expressways to monsoon-damaged Pune backroads, the Bitex MTF15/20 12x100mm Thru Axle Disc Brake Front Hub is a dependable foundation. Engineered for modern disc brake standards, it suits mountain, gravel, and adventure riders who demand consistent performance across varied terrain.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

Bitex has earned a strong reputation among custom wheel builders for producing precise, well-finished hubs at a sensible price point. The MTF15/20's 12x100mm thru-axle interface adds meaningful front-end stiffness compared to quick-release setups — a genuine advantage when navigating the unpredictable surfaces found on climbs around Lonavala, Coorg, or the Nilgiris near Ooty. For riders investing in a custom build, this hub offers performance well above its price.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a front hub, not a complete wheel, so sizing means matching standards rather than body measurements. Confirm your fork accepts a 12x100mm thru axle before ordering — many modern disc forks do, but always verify. Disc brake compatibility (Centerlock or 6-bolt) must also match your rotor. Indian summer heat above 35°C does not affect hub function, but bearing grease life may shorten with heavy use.

Compatibility Notes

Designed for 12x100mm thru-axle disc brake forks only — not compatible with quick-release or 15mm axle standards. Supports disc brake rotors; confirm whether your rotor uses Centerlock or 6-bolt mounting before purchase. Works with standard spoke drilling counts for custom wheel builds. Verify spoke count and flange dimensions with your rim builder before lacing.

Pairs Well With

Complete your custom wheel build by pairing this hub with a quality disc brake rim suited to your terrain, double-butted spokes for durability on rough Indian roads, alloy nipples for corrosion resistance in monsoon conditions, and a matching Bitex rear hub for a consistent drivetrain-side build.
