Mts Dxp Trunk Bag

The Topeak MTS DXP Trunk Bag is a rear-mounted trunk bag built for riders who need reliable, organised carry on everything from daily city commutes in Pune or Delhi to loaded weekend rides through the Western Ghats. Made from nylon and polyester with waterproof construction, it mounts securely at the rear and offers external pockets plus a water bottle holder for quick-access essentials.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

For Indian riders dealing with 35°C+ heat, monsoon downpours, and the varied tarmac between Lonavala and Khandala, the MTS DXP delivers where it counts. The waterproof materials protect gear through sustained rain, the handle makes off-bike carry straightforward, and the MTS mounting interface clicks on and off without fuss. It sits well on mountain, hybrid, and road bikes — a genuinely versatile rear bag for Indian conditions.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The MTS DXP is a trunk bag, not an apparel item, so standard body sizing does not apply. Compatibility depends on your rear rack — confirm your rack accepts Topeak's MTS (Modular Transportation System) interface before ordering. If you ride a mountain or hybrid bike with a standard rear rack, fitment is typically straightforward. Contact Cobbled Climbs for confirmation if unsure.

Compatibility Notes

The MTS DXP Trunk Bag is designed for Topeak's MTS-compatible racks and works across mountain, hybrid, and road bike setups. Verify your rear rack accepts the MTS interface. The nylon and polyester shell handles humidity and heat well; wipe clean after muddy rides and air-dry fully before storage to prevent mildew in monsoon months.

Pairs Well With

Complete your carry setup with a frame bag for additional storage, a compact saddlebag for tools and a spare tube, a portable pump that mounts to the frame, and a set of dry bags or packing cubes to organise contents inside the trunk bag on longer rides.
