Nds Rear Cogniton Qr Hub End Caps

Hub end caps are small parts that make a meaningful difference. The Zipp NDS Rear Cognition QR Hub End Cap is a genuine OEM replacement for the non-drive-side quick-release end cap on Zipp Cognition rear hubs, ensuring your wheel sits correctly in the dropout, spins true, and engages reliably — whether you are riding a morning loop in Pune or a long climb through the Nilgiris toward Ooty.

Use Cases

Under-helmet sweat management. Absorbs forehead sweat in 35°C+ heat across Mumbai, Pune, and Chennai conditions.

Sun protection. Peak shields the eyes and forehead from direct sun on long Indian summer rides.

Style and finish. Completes a coordinated kit for daily rides and group rides.

Our Take

A missing or damaged hub end cap is the kind of problem that sidelines a perfectly good wheelset. The Zipp Cognition hub is one of the better QR rear hubs available, and keeping it in correct working order with a proper OEM end cap — rather than a generic workaround — is the right call. For Indian riders dealing with dusty, gritty road surfaces from Delhi to Chennai, correct hub seating protects bearing life over the long run.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This end cap fits the NDS (non-drive side) of Zipp Cognition rear hubs in quick-release configuration, designed for standard 130mm road dropouts. It is not interchangeable with thru-axle variants. Before ordering, confirm your hub model is Cognition and your axle standard is QR — check the hub shell or your wheel's original documentation to be certain.

Compatibility Notes

Designed specifically for the Zipp Cognition rear hub, non-drive side, quick-release standard. Not compatible with Cognition thru-axle hubs or other Zipp hub families such as the 77D or 3ZERO MOTO. If you are unsure of your hub generation, cross-reference with Zipp's hub compatibility guide or contact Cobbled Climbs before ordering.

Pairs Well With

Keep your Cognition hub running well by pairing this end cap with quality hub bearing grease, a bearing press tool for home servicing, a set of replacement hub bearings for proactive maintenance, and quick-release skewers suited to your frame's dropout geometry.
