Description

The Token Ninja Press Fit 30 BBright Ceramic Bottom Bracket for SRAM GXP is a precision-engineered bearing assembly designed for riders who demand smooth, low-friction power transfer through every pedal stroke. Ceramic bearings paired with a BBright shell specification make this a genuine performance upgrade for road and triathlon bikes built around SRAM GXP cranksets.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable construction for repeat use.

Race day. Lightweight, stiff design for power transfer and aerodynamics.

Fit adjustment. Right stem length critical for comfortable bike fit.

Our Take

India's riding conditions are hard on bottom brackets — monsoon moisture, dust from Pune's back roads, and the relentless heat of a Chennai summer all conspire to degrade standard steel bearings quickly. Token's ceramic bearing races resist corrosion and run noticeably smoother under load, meaning less friction on long Ghats climbs and extended service intervals that suit riders who cover serious kilometres between workshop visits. A worthwhile investment at this price point.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This bottom bracket is not sized by body measurements — it fits BBright shell frames paired with SRAM GXP cranksets. Before ordering, confirm your frame's bottom bracket shell standard (BBright is specific and not interchangeable with PF30, BB86, or threaded standards) and that your crankset uses SRAM GXP spindle dimensions. When in doubt, check your frame's specification sheet or contact Cobbled Climbs before purchase.

Compatibility Notes

Designed specifically for BBright shell frames and SRAM GXP cranksets. Not compatible with Shimano hollowtech or other spindle standards. Press-fit installation is recommended with a proper bearing press tool — avoid hammer installation, which can damage ceramic races. Clean the shell thoroughly before fitting. Periodic inspection for play or creaking is advised, especially after heavy monsoon riding.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain upgrade by pairing this bottom bracket with a quality SRAM GXP crankset, a ceramic-compatible chain lubricant suited to Indian conditions, a bearing press installation tool, and a torque wrench for crank bolt installation. Fitting

Bottom bracket sizing is determined by your frame's shell standard and crankset spindle type, not body measurements. This unit is specifically for BBright shell frames — a standard found on select carbon road and triathlon frames from brands including Cervélo and Time. Crankset must use a SRAM GXP spindle. Confirm both the shell standard stamped inside your bottom bracket shell and your crankset's spindle specification before ordering. If you are unsure, the Cobbled Climbs team can assist with compatibility verification.
