Omne Air MIPS Road Cyclinig Helmet

The Poc Omne Air MIPS Road Cycling Helmet is built for riders who refuse to choose between safety and airflow. Designed for sustained road riding in demanding conditions, it pairs MIPS rotational impact protection with a well-considered ventilation system — making it a serious choice for anyone pushing hard in India's unforgiving summer heat.

Use Cases

Daily training. Ventilated construction for 35°C+ Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai training rides.

Race day. Aerodynamic profile and certified safety standards for competitive efforts.

Long endurance rides. Comfort-first padding and adjustable retention for full-day rides.

Our Take

For riders tackling the Western Ghats out of Pune, the coastal humidity of Chennai, or the punishing afternoon heat of Hyderabad, the Omne Air MIPS earns its place. POC's Swedish safety heritage is well-regarded globally, and the MIPS liner adds meaningful rotational protection without adding bulk. At Rs. 14,900, this is a considered investment in protection — not just a style purchase. Ventilation is a genuine priority here, not an afterthought.

Sizing for Indian Riders

POC sizing follows European conventions: S fits approximately 51–55 cm, M fits 55–59 cm, and L fits 59–63 cm. Measure your head circumference at the forehead before ordering. Indian riders often find European helmets slightly narrower front-to-back — if you're between sizes, size up. In high-humidity cities like Kolkata or Mumbai, a snug but not tight fit prevents friction during long rides.

Compatibility Notes

The Omne Air MIPS is certified to international road cycling safety standards. Compatible with most cycling sunglasses — verify temple clearance with your specific eyewear. The adjustable retention system works with most head shapes. Replace the helmet after any significant impact regardless of visible damage, and replace every five years as UV exposure and sweat degrade the foam liner over time.

Pairs Well With

Complete your road setup with a pair of road cycling sunglasses, a lightweight cycling cap for sweat management under the helmet, a high-visibility rear light for early-morning or evening rides, and road cycling gloves for vibration comfort on chip-seal surfaces common across Indian highways.
