Openmove

Open-ear audio is a genuine safety upgrade for Indian riding conditions. Whether you're navigating the chaotic traffic of Pune's ring road, climbing the Western Ghats toward Lonavala, or doing early morning laps around Delhi's Noida stretches, the Shokz Openmove lets you stay connected to your surroundings while still enjoying music or taking calls. At Rs. 8,999, it brings bone-conduction freedom to everyday cyclists.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

Indian roads demand constant awareness — autorickshaws, cattle crossings, and sudden potholes don't announce themselves. The Shokz Openmove's open-ear design means you're never acoustically isolated from the world around you. For riders in Chennai or Hyderabad tackling 35°C+ summer training rides, the ear-hook style also avoids the sweaty discomfort of in-ear tips pressed against hot skin for hours. It's a sensible, well-considered choice for safety-conscious cyclists.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The Openmove uses a wraparound ear-hook frame rather than traditional sizing, so fit is largely universal. However, riders with smaller head circumferences — common among Indian athletes — should confirm temple fit before purchase. The lightweight frame sits comfortably under most cycling helmets. If you're unsure about compatibility with your specific helmet, contact Cobbled Climbs for guidance before ordering.

Compatibility Notes

The Openmove connects via Bluetooth and is compatible with any smartphone, cycling computer, or tablet. The built-in noise-cancelling microphone supports hands-free calls. It is listed as waterproof, making it suitable for sweaty summer rides and light monsoon drizzle. Pair with any Bluetooth-enabled device — no proprietary dongles or adapters required.

Pairs Well With

Complete your riding setup by pairing the Openmove with a quality cycling helmet for maximum safety, a GPS cycling computer for navigation and data, a hydration pack or water bottle cage for long rides, and a compact handlebar bag to store your phone and charging cable on extended outings.
