Organic Elixir/sram Etap DISC Brake Pads

Organic compound brake pads designed specifically for SRAM eTap AXS and Elixir disc brake systems, the Alligator Organic Elixir/SRAM eTap Disc Brake Pads offer predictable modulation and quiet operation — qualities that matter whether you are navigating Pune's morning traffic or scrubbing speed on a Lonavala descent in the monsoon.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

For Indian riders running SRAM eTap AXS or Elixir hydraulic disc brakes, finding correctly spec'd replacement pads at a sensible price can be a real challenge. Alligator's organic compound delivers smooth, progressive bite with low noise — especially welcome in heat above 35°C where metallic pads can squeal and bite unpredictably. At Rs. 710, these are a practical, confidence-building upgrade for any SRAM disc brake user riding Ghat routes or Chennai's coastal humidity.

Sizing for Indian Riders

These pads are pad-shape specific — confirm your caliper is a SRAM eTap AXS hydraulic or Elixir series before ordering. There is no European-to-Indian sizing conversion here, but do check your rotor diameter (140mm or 160mm are most common on Indian road and gravel builds). Organic pads suit most rotor finishes and are forgiving in varied conditions.

Compatibility Notes

Designed for SRAM Elixir and eTap AXS hydraulic disc brake calipers only — do not install in Shimano, TRP, or Magura systems. Organic compound works with standard steel rotors; avoid use on carbon-surface rotors. Bed-in new pads with ten progressive stops from moderate speed before riding hard descents. Replace when friction material is visibly thin.

Pairs Well With

Round out your braking system with a compatible SRAM disc rotor, DOT 5.1 brake fluid and a brake bleed kit, a torque wrench for caliper bolts, and bar tape or gloves for better brake-lever feel on long descents.
