Performance Visor

The 2XU Performance Visor is a purpose-built running and training accessory designed to keep sweat and sun out of your eyes during hard efforts. Whether you are putting in kilometres on the streets of Pune, tackling early-morning loops around Hyderabad, or training through Chennai's coastal humidity, a well-designed visor does quiet, consistent work that adds up over every session.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

In India's unrelenting heat — regularly pushing 35°C and above — a visor outperforms a full cap by keeping your head cooler while still shielding eyes from glare. The open-top construction lets heat escape freely, making it a smarter choice for midday runs or high-intensity training. 2XU's performance fabric focus means sweat is managed rather than accumulated, which matters enormously when you are deep into a long effort on a humid Indian morning.

Sizing for Indian Riders

2XU uses European sizing standards. For head accessories, measure your head circumference and cross-reference the 2XU size chart before ordering. Most adult visors offer an adjustable rear strap that accommodates a wider range of head sizes, which suits the variety of head shapes common among Indian athletes. When in doubt, size up for comfort under a running hat rather than a snug fit.

Compatibility Notes

The 2XU Performance Visor is designed for running but works equally well for cycling training, gym sessions, and outdoor cross-training. It is machine washable — wash at 30°C with a mild detergent and hang dry. Avoid fabric softener, which can break down technical moisture-wicking fibres over time.

Pairs Well With

Round out your training kit by pairing this visor with lightweight running or cycling sunglasses for UV protection, a breathable technical jersey or running top, moisture-wicking socks built for warm conditions, and a quality base layer for longer efforts in variable weather.
