Pes P505 Base Power Meter

Power data is the single biggest upgrade a serious cyclist can make to their training. The Magene Pes P505 Base Power Meter brings accurate wattage measurement to Indian riders chasing fitness gains on Pune's Sinhagad climbs, Delhi's flat time-trial roads, or the steep Ghats between Mumbai and Lonavala — giving you objective numbers that no perceived effort can replace. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Look in India.

Use Cases

Structured training. Power-based intervals for Zwift, TrainerRoad, or coach-led training.

Race day pacing. Real-time power data for sustainable race efforts.

Performance tracking. Long-term power trends to measure fitness gains.

Our Take

At Rs. 30,900, the Magene P505 Base offers a compelling entry into power-based training without the premium price tags of European rivals. For Indian riders pushing through 35°C+ summer rides in Hyderabad or grinding Ooty's switchbacks, watts don't lie. This pedal-based system suits riders who want clean installation without modifying their crankset — swap it across bikes with minimal fuss and start training smarter immediately.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The P505 Base is a pedal-based power meter, so cleat compatibility matters more than body sizing. Confirm your shoe's cleat pattern before ordering. Most Indian road cyclists running SPD-SL or Look-compatible shoes will find this system straightforward. If you ride in Chennai or Kolkata humidity, pedal threads should be greased during installation to prevent corrosion over time.

Compatibility Notes

The Magene P505 Base transmits via ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart, pairing with Garmin, Wahoo, and Magene cycling computers. Verify your crank arm thread compatibility before purchasing. Works with most road bike drivetrains. Recharge before long rides and keep the charging port dry during monsoon season — a silicone cover or electrical tape works well.

Pairs Well With

Complete your training setup by adding a cycling computer with power display capability, a heart rate monitor for training zone accuracy, a cadence sensor if not already integrated, and a quality saddle bag for multi-day rides through Coorg or Leh. All available at Cobbled Climbs.
