Pietra Headband

Riding in India's heat — whether you're grinding up the Ghats near Pune, tackling Ooty's climbs, or simply keeping up with a Chennai morning group ride — means sweat management is non-negotiable. The Santini Pietra Headband is a deceptively simple piece of kit designed to sit under your helmet, absorb sweat, and keep your focus on the road rather than your brow.

Use Cases

Under-helmet sweat management. Absorbs forehead sweat in 35°C+ heat across Mumbai, Pune, and Chennai conditions.

Sun protection. Peak shields the eyes and forehead from direct sun on long Indian summer rides.

Style and finish. Completes a coordinated kit for daily rides and group rides.

Our Take

At Rs. 1,325, the Santini Pietra Headband punches well above its price point for Indian riders. In temperatures exceeding 35°C, a proper headband is the difference between a clean, focused ride and sweat stinging your eyes on a descent. Santini's performance fabrics handle the humidity of a Lonavala summer or a Hyderabad monsoon morning better than a basic cotton alternative ever could. A small investment, a real difference in daily comfort.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The Pietra Headband is a one-size accessory designed to stretch and conform to most head circumferences. European cycling headbands typically run slightly narrow — Indian riders with broader head profiles may find it sits higher on the forehead. Wear it low and tight for maximum sweat-blocking performance under a helmet. No size chart needed; it ships ready to ride.

Compatibility Notes

The Pietra Headband works under all road, MTB, and commuter helmets. It is compatible with the full Santini apparel system — caps, helmets, jerseys — and layers cleanly beneath any helmet padding. Machine wash at 30°C with a mild detergent, hang dry, and avoid fabric softener to preserve moisture-wicking properties.

Pairs Well With

Complete your head-to-toe kit by pairing the Pietra Headband with a breathable cycling cap for sun protection, a lightweight summer jersey, moisture-wicking cycling socks, and a well-ventilated road or MTB helmet for full thermal management on long Indian rides.
