Derailleur Hanger for Giant Reign, Anthem

The Pilo D127 Derailleur Hanger is a precision-machined replacement dropout designed specifically for Giant Reign and Anthem frames. Derailleur hangers are sacrificial components — they are engineered to bend or break before damage reaches your frame or derailleur, making a quality spare an essential item in every Indian rider's toolkit, especially on rough Deccan plateau trails or the rocky descents around Coorg and Ooty.

Our Take

Indian trail riders put their equipment through serious punishment — from the boulder-strewn singletracks above Pune to the loose, unpredictable descents in the Nilgiris. A bent or snapped hanger can end a ride instantly, and sourcing a frame-specific part in the field is nearly impossible. The Pilo D127 offers a machined aluminium construction that matches Giant's original tolerances precisely, meaning gear indexing returns to factory feel after a swap. Keep one in your pack — it weighs almost nothing and saves long rides.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a frame-specific component, not a sized product. The D127 fits Giant Reign and Anthem frames only — confirm your exact frame year and model before ordering. Giant sizing conventions are consistent globally, so Indian riders on locally purchased Giant frames can order with confidence. If you are unsure of your frame year, check the sticker inside the front triangle or contact your local Giant dealer.

Compatibility Notes

The Pilo D127 is engineered to fit Giant Reign and Anthem mountain bike frames. It is compatible with Shimano and SRAM rear derailleurs across a wide range of groupsets. Pilo hangers are CNC-machined from aluminium alloy. No special tools are required for installation — a standard 5mm hex key is sufficient. Always carry at least one spare on multi-day rides.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain spares kit with a rear derailleur from Shimano's XT or SLX range, a quality chain from KMC or Shimano, a chain checker tool for trail-side diagnosis, and a compact multi-tool with hex keys to handle trail repairs quickly and get back to the descents.
