Derailleur Hanger for Java

The Pilo D1373 Derailleur Hanger is a precision-machined replacement part designed specifically for Java bikes. If you ride on the rough tarmac of Delhi's outer ring roads, Pune's Sinhagad climbs, or gravel tracks around Coorg, a bent or snapped derailleur hanger is a ride-ending moment — having a spare in your kit bag is simply smart cycling.

Our Take

India's roads demand more from your drivetrain than smooth European tarmac ever would. Potholes, unexpected speed breakers, and rocky descents around Ooty or Khandala put enormous stress on your rear derailleur. The Pilo D1373 is machined to exact tolerances, acting as the sacrificial link between your frame and derailleur. When something has to bend, it should be this hanger — not your frame. A genuinely essential spare for any Java owner riding Indian conditions.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Derailleur hangers are frame-specific, not body-size dependent. The D1373 is engineered exclusively for Java frames. Before ordering, confirm your exact Java frame model to ensure compatibility. No heat or fit considerations apply, but keep one spare at home and another in your saddle bag — Indian roads can be unpredictable regardless of season.

Compatibility Notes

The Pilo D1373 is compatible with Java bicycle frames only. It works with standard derailleur mounting threads and is suitable for Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo rear derailleurs. Always carry a spare; the hanger is designed as a replaceable safety component. Clean the dropout area before installation for secure fitment.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain protection kit with a rear derailleur from Shimano or SRAM, a quality chain tool for trailside repairs, a compact multi-tool with hex keys for hanger installation, and a durable saddle bag large enough to carry a spare hanger on every ride.
