Derailleur Hanger for Author, Motobecane, Norco, Pinarello, Radon

The Pilo D186 Derailleur Hanger is a precision-machined replacement dropout designed specifically for Pinarello frames. A small but critical component, the derailleur hanger is the first line of defence when your bike takes a knock — it is engineered to break before your frame or derailleur does, saving you from a far more expensive repair on Indian roads.

Our Take

India's road surfaces — from Pune's potholed ring roads to the rough descents around Lonavala and Khandala — put real stress on your drivetrain. Carrying a spare derailleur hanger is simply smart riding practice here. The Pilo D186 is CNC-machined to exacting tolerances, fits Pinarello geometry precisely, and restores clean derailleur alignment quickly so you are back on the road without fuss. Worth keeping two in your toolkit.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a frame-specific component, not a sized item in the traditional sense. However, confirm your Pinarello frame model and year before ordering — hanger profiles vary significantly across Pinarello's lineup, from older Dogma generations to current Prince and Gan models. If you are unsure of your exact frame variant, Cobbled Climbs' support team can help you cross-reference before purchase.

Compatibility Notes

The D186 is designed exclusively for compatible Pinarello frames. It works with both Shimano and Campagnolo derailleur systems. Always check the thread direction and bolt specification against your existing hanger before installation. Avoid using excessive torque during fitting — hand-tight plus a quarter turn is typically sufficient to seat it correctly.

Pairs Well With

Keep your drivetrain in top shape by pairing this hanger with a quality chain lubricant for wet and dusty Indian conditions, a chain wear indicator tool, a compact multi-tool for roadside repairs, and a replacement derailleur cable and housing set for a complete service kit.
