Derailleur Hanger for Cinelli, De Rosa, Drag, Eddy Merckx, Orro, Ribble

The Pilo D301 Derailleur Hanger is a precision-machined replacement dropout hanger compatible with De Rosa, Drag, and Eddy Merckx frames. If your rear derailleur has taken a hit on a potholed city road or after a tumble on a descent in Lonavala, a bent or snapped hanger is your frame's first line of defence — and replacing it correctly matters.

Our Take

Indian roads — from Chennai's busy arterials to the rough gradients outside Pune — are unforgiving on drivetrain components. A bent hanger left unaddressed causes persistent ghost shifting and can destroy a rear derailleur entirely. Pilo's D301 is machined to tight tolerances, ensuring it fits De Rosa, Drag, and Eddy Merckx frames accurately. At Rs. 3,986, it is a sensible insurance policy for a frame that likely cost many times more. Keep a spare in your riding bag.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Derailleur hangers are frame-specific and not sized by rider weight or build. The D301 fits designated De Rosa, Drag, and Eddy Merckx frame models. Before ordering, confirm your exact frame model and year to ensure the D301 matches your dropout geometry. If unsure, photograph your existing hanger alongside a ruler and contact Cobbled Climbs — we are happy to verify compatibility before dispatch.

Compatibility Notes

The Pilo D301 is designed for specific De Rosa, Drag, and Eddy Merckx frame models. It is compatible with both Shimano and SRAM rear derailleurs mounted to those frames. Hangers should be checked for straightness after any crash or kerb strike using a hanger alignment tool. Threads should be kept clean and lightly greased during installation.

Pairs Well With

Complete the repair correctly with a derailleur alignment tool from your workbench kit. A quality chain lubricant suited to Indian monsoon or dry-season conditions keeps the drivetrain running after the fix. Consider pairing with replacement derailleur cables and housing, and a chain wear indicator to assess drivetrain health after any impact.
