Derailleur Hanger for Corratec, Giant

The Pilo D347 Derailleur Hanger is a precision-machined replacement dropout hanger designed specifically for Giant bicycles. If you've ever bent or snapped a hanger on a rough patch of road in Pune or after a dusty descent in Lonavala, you know how critical it is to have the right spare on hand — the wrong hanger simply will not align your derailleur correctly, risking your entire drivetrain.

Our Take

Indian roads demand a lot from your drivetrain components. Potholes, gravel crossings, and the occasional unexpected kerb drop can bend a derailleur hanger before you even notice. The Pilo D347 is a well-made, brand-matched replacement that restores precise derailleur alignment on Giant frames. For riders tackling the Western Ghats or commuting daily in Delhi and Hyderabad, keeping a spare Pilo hanger in your kit bag is simply smart cycling practice. It is an affordable insurance policy for an expensive drivetrain.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This hanger is model-specific and not a universal fit. Verify your exact Giant frame model and year before ordering — Giant updates dropout designs across model generations, and an incorrect hanger will misalign your rear derailleur regardless of how it appears to fit. If you are unsure of your frame year, check the sticker on your bottom bracket shell or contact Cobbled Climbs for guidance before placing your order.

Compatibility Notes

The Pilo D347 is designed to fit specific Giant frame models and is compatible with standard derailleur mounting threads. It works with Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo rear derailleurs mounted to Giant frames. After installation, always re-check and re-index your rear derailleur. Store any spare in a dry place — Mumbai and Chennai humidity can cause minor surface oxidation over time on unmounted alloy parts.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain protection kit with a rear derailleur from the Shimano or SRAM range, derailleur hanger alignment tools, chain wear indicators to catch wear early, and a compact multi-tool for roadside fixes during long rides in Coorg or Ooty. A spare inner tube and tyre levers round out a solid emergency kit.
