Derailleur Hanger for Cipollini, Lee Cougan, Polygon, Pronghorn, Whyte

The Pilo D378 Derailleur Hanger is a precision-machined replacement dropout designed specifically for Lee Cougan and Polygon frames. If you ride hard on broken tarmac, Pune's potholed bypasses, or the sharp descents around Lonavala, a bent or snapped derailleur hanger is a matter of when, not if — and having the correct replacement on hand keeps your drivetrain shifting crisply and your rear derailleur safe from catastrophic damage.

Our Take

Indian roads are unforgiving, and a derailleur hanger is deliberately the weakest link in your drivetrain — it sacrifices itself so your frame and derailleur survive a crash or a hard kerb strike. The Pilo D378 is machined to tight tolerances, ensuring correct derailleur alignment on Lee Cougan and Polygon frames right out of the packet. For riders tackling the Western Ghats, Chennai's coastal flats, or weekend sportives in Hyderabad, carrying a spare D378 is simple, smart insurance.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Derailleur hangers are frame-specific, not body-size specific. The D378 fits designated Lee Cougan and Polygon frame models — verify your exact frame model and year before ordering. If you are unsure, check the underside of your existing hanger for a part number or contact Cobbled Climbs with your frame details. No heat or climate adjustments affect fit.

Compatibility Notes

The Pilo D378 is compatible with standard M10 rear derailleur mounting bolts and works with Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo rear derailleurs fitted to compatible Lee Cougan and Polygon frames. After installation, check and set derailleur alignment with a hanger alignment tool before riding. Keep a spare in your kit bag — hangers are not reusable after a significant bend.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain protection kit with a hanger alignment tool, a quality rear derailleur from Shimano's 105 or Deore range, derailleur cable and housing set, and a compact multi-tool that includes the correct Allen key for hanger bolts.
