Derailleur Hanger for Cube

The Pilo D388 Derailleur Hanger is a precision-machined replacement dropout hanger designed specifically for Cube bikes. A small part with a big job, this hanger acts as a deliberate weak point in your drivetrain, protecting your frame and rear derailleur from impact damage — an essential spare for any Cube rider tackling Indian roads, gravel, or mountain trails.

Our Take

Indian road conditions — potholes in Pune, rocky descents around Coorg, rutted trails near Lonavala — put derailleur hangers under constant stress. Carrying a spare Pilo D388 is simply smart riding. Pilo hangers are machined to tight tolerances, so shifting quality is restored immediately after a swap. At Rs. 5,600, this is genuine insurance for a frame that costs many times more. Every Cube rider should keep one in their saddle bag.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The D388 is a frame-specific part — it fits designated Cube models only, not all Cube bikes. Sizing here means matching your exact Cube frame model and year, not body size. Before ordering, confirm your Cube bike's model name and year of manufacture. If you are unsure, share your frame details with the Cobbled Climbs team and we will verify compatibility before dispatch.

Compatibility Notes

The Pilo D388 is engineered for specific Cube frame models. It is compatible with both Shimano and SRAM rear derailleurs mounted on those frames. The hanger is typically aluminium alloy construction. No special tools are required beyond a standard derailleur hanger alignment gauge. Always check hanger alignment after installation to ensure accurate shifting.

Pairs Well With

Complete your workshop kit with a derailleur hanger alignment tool, a quality chain lubricant suited to monsoon or dry conditions, a rear derailleur from Shimano or SRAM for a full drivetrain refresh, and a compact multi-tool for trailside repairs.
