Derailleur Hanger for Cube, Diamondback, Ghost, Haibike

The Pilo D40 Derailleur Hanger is a precision-engineered replacement dropout designed to fit Cube, Diamondback, Ghost, and Haibike frames. A small but critical component, the derailleur hanger is the first line of defence when your bike takes a knock — and on Indian roads, that happens more often than you'd like. Having a spare ready means a bent or snapped hanger never ends your ride prematurely.

Our Take

Indian roads — from the broken tarmac of city commutes to the rocky descents around Lonavala and Coorg — are tough on drivetrains. The derailleur hanger is intentionally the weakest link, sacrificing itself to save your derailleur and frame. Pilo's D40 is machined to exact tolerances for a precise, rattle-free fit. At Rs. 3,500, it is far cheaper than replacing a derailleur or frame. Every rider on a compatible bike should keep one in their kit bag.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The Pilo D40 is a frame-specific component, not a size-specific one — it fits Cube, Diamondback, Ghost, and Haibike frames regardless of rider size or frame geometry. Before ordering, confirm your frame brand and model year, as hanger profiles can vary across generations. If you are unsure, photograph your existing hanger alongside the dropout and contact our team at Cobbled Climbs for confirmation.

Compatibility Notes

The D40 is compatible with Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo rear derailleurs. It fits the specific dropout geometry of Cube, Diamondback, Ghost, and Haibike aluminium and carbon frames. Check your frame's model year before fitting. Use a hanger alignment tool after installation to ensure your derailleur is perfectly straight — critical for smooth, accurate shifting across all gears.

Pairs Well With

Pick up a derailleur alignment gauge to check straightness after every hanger replacement. A quality chain lubricant suited to Indian monsoon or dry conditions will extend drivetrain life. A compact multi-tool with a chain breaker rounds out a solid emergency trail kit for rides around Pune, Hyderabad, or the Western Ghats.
