Derailleur Hanger for Betta, Boardman, Corratec, Lapierre, Megamo, Ridley, Stevens

The Pilo D413 Derailleur Hanger is a precision-machined replacement dropout hanger compatible with select Boardman, Corratec, Lapierre, and Ridley frames. Designed as a sacrificial component that protects your derailleur and frame in the event of a crash or mechanical impact, the D413 is an essential spare for any serious rider who cannot afford unexpected downtime on the road.

Our Take

Indian roads are unforgiving — potholes in Pune, rough tarmac on the outskirts of Hyderabad, and loose surfaces on the Coorg climbs all increase the risk of a derailleur strike. Carrying a replacement hanger like the Pilo D413 is basic mechanical common sense. Pilo's machining quality is consistently precise, ensuring a snug fit without play, which matters enormously when you want your rear derailleur alignment to stay true across a long ride.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The D413 is a frame-specific component — fit is determined by your bicycle frame model, not rider body size. Verify your exact frame brand and model year before ordering. Boardman, Corratec, Lapierre, and Ridley each produce multiple frame generations, so cross-check your frame's dropout profile carefully. When in doubt, contact Cobbled Climbs with your frame details before purchasing.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with select Boardman, Corratec, Lapierre, and Ridley frames — confirm your specific model year before purchase. The D413 works with standard rear derailleur mounting threads. Pilo hangers are typically machined from aluminium alloy and are designed to be replaced, not repaired, after a significant impact. Keep one spare in your toolkit at all times.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain protection kit with a quality rear derailleur from Shimano or SRAM, a chain checker tool for routine maintenance, a compact multi-tool for on-ride repairs, and a saddle bag to carry spare hangers and tools on longer audax or gran fondo rides.
