Derailleur Hanger for Carrera, Cube, Dema, Haro, XDS, E11EVEN

The Pilo D449 Derailleur Hanger is a precision-machined replacement dropout designed to fit Carrera, Cube, Haro, and XDS frames. A small part with a big job, the derailleur hanger is the first line of defence when your rear mech takes a knock — on potholed city roads or a technical descent through Lonavala, it sacrifices itself so your frame and drivetrain survive intact.

Our Take

Indian roads are unpredictable — a sudden pothole in Pune traffic or a misjudged rock on a Coorg trail can bend a hanger in seconds. The Pilo D449 is CNC-machined from aerospace-grade aluminium alloy, giving you a tight, consistent thread interface that keeps your derailleur indexed correctly ride after ride. Pilo is the global benchmark for hanger fitment accuracy, and this specific D449 profile matches Carrera, Cube, Haro, and XDS geometries with confidence. Keep one in your saddlebag — it weighs almost nothing and could save your ride.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Derailleur hangers are frame-specific, not rider-specific. Confirm your exact frame model and year before ordering — Cube in particular has updated hanger profiles across model years. If you own a Carrera, Haro, or XDS frame, cross-check the dropout shape against Pilo's D449 reference image. When in doubt, contact Cobbled Climbs support with your frame details before purchasing.

Compatibility Notes

The D449 is compatible with Shimano, SRAM, and Microshift rear derailleurs. It works across 7- to 12-speed drivetrains provided the frame is listed above. Always check thread pitch and bolt pattern against your existing hanger. Replace immediately after any significant impact — riding on a bent hanger accelerates derailleur wear and risks a dropped chain.

Pairs Well With

Keep your drivetrain protected and ready with a chain wear indicator tool, a quality rear derailleur for an upgrade while you're at it, a chain lubricant suited to Indian conditions (wet lube for monsoon, dry lube for summer), and a compact multi-tool to fit the hanger trailside.
