Derailleur Hanger for Cipollini

The Pilo D534 Derailleur Hanger is a precision-machined replacement dropout hanger designed specifically for Cipollini framesets. If you ride on the demanding roads around Pune, the Western Ghats, or tackle the broken surfaces of Delhi's outer ring roads, this small component plays an outsized role in keeping your drivetrain shifting cleanly and your frame protected from costly damage.

Our Take

Indian roads are unforgiving — from Lonavala's steep descents to Chennai's potholed city circuits, a derailleur hanger is the first line of defence for your frame in a crash or a bad kerb strike. The Pilo D534 is made to exacting tolerances, meaning your derailleur alignment stays true and your shifting stays crisp even after replacement. For Cipollini owners in India, keeping a spare at home is simply sensible maintenance practice rather than an afterthought.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This hanger is frame-specific and not a general-fit component — it is designed exclusively for compatible Cipollini models. There is no size selection based on rider body measurements. Confirm your Cipollini frame model before ordering. If you are unsure of compatibility, reach out to the Cobbled Climbs team before placing your order to avoid a return.

Compatibility Notes

The Pilo D534 is manufactured for specific Cipollini framesets. It is compatible with both mechanical and electronic rear derailleurs from Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo, provided they suit your frame's specification. Always verify your frame model number against Pilo's compatibility chart. Clean the dropout threads before installation and apply a small amount of anti-seize compound for easier future removal.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain maintenance kit with a quality rear derailleur from Shimano or SRAM, chain lubricant suited to Indian monsoon and dusty conditions, a chain wear indicator tool, and a set of precision hex keys for confident home workshop use.
