Derailleur Hanger for Giant

The Pilo D668 Derailleur Hanger is a precision-machined replacement dropout hanger designed specifically for Giant bicycles. A broken or bent hanger is one of the most common mechanical failures on Indian roads, where potholes, rocky descents, and unexpected kerb drops put constant stress on your drivetrain. Swapping one in with the D668 keeps you rolling without a workshop visit.

Our Take

Indian riding conditions are unforgiving on derailleur hangers. From the broken tarmac of Pune's outskirts to the loose gravel on Coorg's forest roads, impacts that would barely register elsewhere can bend or snap a hanger entirely. The Pilo D668 is machined to exact Giant factory tolerances, meaning your indexing returns precisely to where it should be. Carrying a spare in your saddle bag is genuinely one of the smartest low-cost insurance moves any Giant owner can make in this country.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The D668 is a model-specific hanger engineered to match particular Giant frame generations — sizing here means frame compatibility rather than rider body size. Verify your Giant frame model and year before ordering. The hanger fits the dropout interface as designed with no modification required. If you are unsure of your frame generation, our team at Cobbled Climbs can help confirm compatibility before your order is placed.

Compatibility Notes

The Pilo D668 is designed exclusively for compatible Giant bicycle frames and is not a universal hanger. It works across Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo rear derailleurs provided your frame is the correct match. Store spare hangers away from direct moisture during monsoon season to prevent corrosion at the dropout interface. No special tools are required beyond a standard Allen key set.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain protection kit by pairing the D668 with a quality rear derailleur from Shimano or SRAM, a durable chain from a trusted brand, and a compact multi-tool designed for on-road emergency repairs. A waterproof saddle bag to stow your spare hanger is also a practical addition for long-distance riders.
