PRO 2 Plus Bike Rack Universal Mount

Transporting your bike by car is one of those logistics challenges every serious cyclist in India eventually faces — whether you're driving to the base of a Lonavala climb, heading to the hills above Ooty, or loading up for a weekend in Coorg. The Tree Frog PRO 2 Plus Bike Rack with Universal Mount is built to make that journey secure, stable, and stress-free, fitting a wide range of vehicles without specialist tools or permanent modifications. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Treefrog in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

Car racks in India face a punishing mix of potholed highways, sudden monsoon downpours, and intense heat that can exceed 35°C on long drives to Pune or Hyderabad. The Tree Frog PRO 2 Plus impresses with its universal mount design, which means it adapts to a broad range of cars without requiring a towbar or roof rails. For cyclists who drive to trailheads or cycling events, this is a practical, well-engineered solution that earns its place in any car-based riding setup.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a car rack, so body sizing doesn't apply — but vehicle compatibility matters greatly. Before ordering, confirm your car's boot lip profile, door frame thickness, and whether you have a hatchback, SUV, or sedan. Tree Frog's universal mount system is designed to span multiple body styles common in India, including popular hatchbacks and compact SUVs. Contact Cobbled Climbs if you're unsure about fitment for your specific vehicle.

Compatibility Notes

The PRO 2 Plus Universal Mount is designed to work across a wide range of vehicle types without requiring a towbar or roof rail. It accommodates most standard bicycle frames, including step-through and non-traditional geometries using included adapters. Verify that your bike's weight is within the rack's rated load capacity before use. Periodically check all straps and mounting points, especially after driving on rough Indian roads or following heavy monsoon rain.

Pairs Well With

Complete your car-transport setup with a quality bike cover to protect against dust and rain during long drives, a set of wheel bags to avoid boot contamination, frame protectors or foam pads to prevent contact marks, and a secure cable lock for unattended stops at highway dhabas or rest areas.
