PRO Hydraulic Hose

Hydraulic brake performance lives or dies in the hose. The Jagwire PRO Hydraulic Hose is precision-engineered to maintain consistent fluid pressure and brake feel across the demanding conditions Indian riders face — monsoon-soaked descents, sustained Ghat braking, and the heat that builds on summer rides through Lonavala, Ooty, or Coorg.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

On long descents through the Western Ghats or rain-slicked Pune–Mumbai expressway exits, the quality of your hydraulic hose directly affects brake modulation and confidence. The Jagwire PRO Hydraulic Hose is built to resist expansion under pressure and hold up against India's heat and humidity. For riders who take braking seriously, this is a worthwhile upgrade over stock hose supplied with entry-level calipers.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Hydraulic hose sizing is about length, not body fit. Measure your existing hose run carefully before ordering — account for full handlebar rotation. Most complete builds on Indian road and gravel bikes run standard hose lengths, but custom framesets or bikes with routed internal cables may need longer cuts. Jagwire PRO Hose is typically sold by the metre or as a kit; confirm the length suits your build.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with Shimano mineral oil and DOT fluid systems — confirm your specific caliper's fluid requirement before purchase. Works with standard hydraulic fittings and olive-and-insert connections common across Shimano, SRAM, and Magura systems. Always bleed hydraulic lines after hose replacement. Never mix fluid types; doing so damages internal seals and compromises stopping power.

Pairs Well With

Complete your hydraulic brake service with a quality bleed kit and brand-correct hydraulic fluid, compatible disc brake calipers, a set of fresh disc brake pads matched to your rotor compound, and hydraulic brake levers if you are doing a full system refresh.
