PRO Series 2620 Heel Wedges

The G8 PRO Series 2620 Heel Wedges are a targeted biomechanical accessory designed to correct heel tilt and forefoot alignment inside cycling shoes. For Indian riders logging long kilometres on roads from Pune's Sinhagad climbs to Chennai's coastal flats, small alignment imbalances compound quickly into knee and hip discomfort — these wedges address that at the source.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable navigation and ride tracking for structured training rides.

Race day. Real-time data display for power, heart rate, and pacing.

Long routes. Turn-by-turn navigation for unfamiliar Indian routes and destination rides.

Our Take

Heel wedges are one of the most overlooked fit tools in Indian cycling, yet knee pain from valgus or varus foot alignment is genuinely common here. The G8 PRO Series 2620 offers a practical, affordable way to dial in foot position without a full custom insole. For riders tackling the Western Ghats or long Hyderabad weekend rides, correcting heel tilt early prevents the chronic overuse injuries that sideline riders mid-season.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Heel wedges are placed inside the shoe under the insole or heel cup — fit depends on your shoe's internal volume rather than foot length alone. Indian riders with wider heels or lower arches may find the wedge shifts fit noticeably. Start with the thinner wedge configuration and assess over two or three rides before committing to a higher degree of correction.

Compatibility Notes

The G8 PRO Series 2620 Heel Wedges are made from plastic and synthetic materials and are compatible with most cycling shoe insole systems. They sit under the existing insole inside the heel cup. Works with road and mountain cycling shoes. Not designed for casual footwear. Clean with a damp cloth; avoid prolonged soaking during monsoon-season rides.

Pairs Well With

For a complete fit solution, consider pairing these heel wedges with full-length cycling insoles for arch support, performance cycling socks to manage heat at 35°C+, a set of compatible clipless pedals, and a professional bike fit session to confirm your corrected foot position translates to optimal saddle and cleat placement.
