PRO Team Bidon

Staying hydrated on long rides through the Western Ghats, Pune's summer climbs, or Chennai's coastal heat is not optional — it is a performance requirement. The Rapha PRO Team Bidon is built to meet that demand: easy to squeeze mid-effort, secure in the cage, and designed with the attention to detail you expect from one of cycling's most recognised performance brands.

Use Cases

Daily training. On-bike hydration for road, gravel, or MTB training rides.

Long climbs. Reliable cage-compatible design for Western Ghats, Nilgiris, or Sahyadri climbs.

Race day. Quick-access valve and frame-cage compatibility for competitive efforts.

Our Take

In India's punishing summer heat — think Hyderabad in May or the Lonavala climb at noon — a reliable bidon is as important as any component on your bike. The Rapha PRO Team Bidon earns its place in a performance setup with a clean valve action, a secure lid that does not leak from frame mounts on rough Deccan Plateau roads, and Rapha's trademark commitment to quality that holds up across long kilometres.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Bidons do not come in body sizes, but cage fit matters. Most standard road and gravel cages across India accept bottles of this type without modification. If you run a compact frame with tight cage clearance — common on smaller Indian riders' bikes — check the bottle diameter and length against your specific cage before ordering. Contact Cobbled Climbs for guidance.

Compatibility Notes

The Rapha PRO Team Bidon is designed to fit standard cycling bottle cages. Verify compatibility if using oversized, carbon, or proprietary cages. BPA-free, food-grade materials make it safe for daily use. Hand wash with a bottle brush and mild detergent; air dry inverted to prevent mildew build-up, especially important during India's humid monsoon months.

Pairs Well With

Complete your hydration setup with a quality bottle cage (carbon or alloy), electrolyte sachets or hydration tablets for long summer rides, a second bidon for 4-hour-plus efforts, and a cycling jersey with deep rear pockets for carrying extras on unsupported routes like Ooty or Coorg.
