Protex Bandana

Sweat dripping into your eyes on a Pune-to-Lonavala climb or a humid Chennai morning ride is more than a nuisance — it breaks concentration and comfort. The Halo Protex Bandana is built around one core promise: keeping sweat out of your face so you can focus on the road ahead. Lightweight, washable, and designed for cycling-specific use, it earns its place in any Indian rider's kit.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

The Halo Protex Bandana does something deceptively simple very well — it stops sweat before it becomes a problem. In India's punishing summer heat, especially on climbs around Ooty, Coorg, or the Western Ghats where effort stays high for extended stretches, sweat management is a genuine performance factor. The bandana-style construction means it also works under a helmet without adding uncomfortable bulk. A small investment at Rs. 1,995 that pays back on every ride.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Halo headwear generally follows a one-size-fits-most approach, designed to stretch and wrap around a range of head circumferences. Indian riders with larger head measurements should confirm fit using Halo's size guidance before ordering. The bandana format offers more adjustability than structured caps, making it a forgiving option for most riders across Kolkata, Ahmedabad, or Delhi where head shapes and sizes vary widely.

Compatibility Notes

The Protex Bandana sits under any road or MTB helmet and works across all cycling disciplines — road, gravel, and commuting alike. Machine washable; follow care label instructions and avoid fabric softener to preserve the technical sweat-channel fabric. Works well as a standalone piece or layered under a cycling cap.

Pairs Well With

Complete your sweat-management setup with a well-ventilated road or MTB helmet, a moisture-wicking cycling jersey, breathable cycling gloves for grip on humid bars, and a lightweight cycling cap for additional sun protection on exposed rides.
