Ps 2.0

The ISM Ps 2.0 is a performance saddle built around ISM's signature split-nose design, which eliminates the traditional nose tip to reduce pressure on soft tissue during long efforts. Whether you're grinding up the Western Ghats, logging base miles on Pune's highways, or training through Chennai's coastal humidity, saddle choice is one of the most personal decisions a rider makes. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Time in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

ISM's split-nose philosophy genuinely changes the comfort equation for riders who suffer on conventional saddles. In India's 35°C+ riding conditions, where chamois fatigue sets in faster and rides demand more from your contact points, the Ps 2.0's pressure-relief geometry earns its price. It suits time-trial position riders and aggressive roadies alike. Plan for a 5–6 ride break-in period before making your final judgement — this saddle rewards patience.

Sizing for Indian Riders

ISM saddles are shaped differently from conventional designs — the split nose means width measurement works differently. Match the Ps 2.0 to your sit-bone width using the cardboard method: sit, mark dimples, measure centre to centre, then add approximately 25mm. Indian riders with sit-bone widths in the 130–155mm range typically fit the standard offering well. Riders with shorter torsos may need to adjust fore-aft positioning slightly forward.

Compatibility Notes

The ISM Ps 2.0 uses a standard rail system compatible with 7×7mm seatpost clamps. Confirm your seatpost diameter matches your frame — common sizes are 27.2mm, 30.9mm, and 31.6mm. If your seatpost uses a carbon rail clamp, check manufacturer torque specifications before tightening. ISM recommends setback adjustment to optimise the split-nose geometry for your riding position.

Pairs Well With

For the best experience with the ISM Ps 2.0, consider pairing it with quality bib shorts featuring a high-density chamois, a carbon or alloy setback seatpost suited to your frame, chamois cream for hot Indian summers, and a compact saddle bag for commutes or randonneuring.
