Q Rings Qarbon Bcd110x4 Q50at34 Outer

The Rotor Q Rings Qarbon BCD110x4 Q50AT34 Outer is an oval chainring built for riders who want to get more from every pedal stroke. Designed around Rotor's Q-Ring geometry, it works with 4-bolt 110mm BCD road cranks and suits riders tackling everything from Pune's Katraj climbs to long endurance rides on the Hyderabad–Secunderabad circuit. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Shimano in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

Rotor's Q-Ring oval geometry redistributes effort across the pedal stroke, reducing dead spots and keeping cadence smoother on sustained climbs like those above Lonavala or the Nilgiris towards Ooty. The Qarbon construction keeps weight down without sacrificing stiffness. For Indian riders spending long hours in the saddle during cooler morning windows — often the only reprieve from 35°C+ afternoons — this chainring rewards consistent effort with a more natural, knee-friendly pedalling motion.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a 34-tooth outer ring designed for 4-bolt 110mm BCD road cranks. Confirm your crank's BCD and bolt count before ordering — 110x4 is common on Shimano 105, Ultegra, and compatible aftermarket cranks. The Q50AT designation indicates the oval orientation setting; Rotor recommends starting at the default factory position and adjusting based on feel after a few hundred kilometres of riding.

Compatibility Notes

Fits 4-bolt 110mm BCD road cranks. Compatible with 10, 11, and 12-speed road drivetrains. Works with Shimano and compatible third-party cranks — verify bolt pattern before fitting. Chain compatibility follows standard road drivetrain widths. Replace chain at recommended wear intervals to avoid accelerated chainring wear, especially critical in monsoon riding conditions.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain setup with a matching inner chainring for your crank, a quality road chain suited to your groupset speed, a chain wear checker tool for tracking replacement intervals, and a wet-condition chain lubricant for riding through the Indian monsoon season.
