Quick Release Skewer Set

Quick release skewers are a small component that plays a quietly important role in every ride. The Parcours Quick Release Skewer Set is precision-built to secure your wheels reliably — whether you're rolling through Pune's morning traffic, climbing Lonavala's ghats, or hammering the smooth tarmac of the Delhi-Agra Expressway. A quality skewer ensures consistent wheel seating, ride after ride. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Time in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

Most riders overlook skewers until something goes wrong. The Parcours Quick Release Skewer Set is designed for those who care about every contact point on the bike. On Indian roads — where you might hit a sharp pothole near Hyderabad's outer ring road or a speed bump outside Chennai without warning — a well-engineered skewer keeps the wheel firmly seated. Simple, dependable, and worth doing right the first time.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Quick release skewers are not sized by body measurements but by axle standard. The most common road bike standard in India is QR 130mm for rear and QR 100mm for front. Confirm your hub spacing before ordering. In peak summer heat above 35°C, metal skewers expand negligibly — no fitment concern, but always check skewer tension before long rides.

Compatibility Notes

These skewers are designed for quick-release axle standards — confirm your frame and fork accept QR rather than thru-axle before ordering. Compatible with road, gravel, and MTB frames using traditional QR dropout spacing. Not suitable for thru-axle frames. Ensure correct installation torque and check lever orientation clears frame surfaces cleanly.

Pairs Well With

For a complete wheel setup, consider pairing with performance road or gravel tyres suited to Indian tarmac, tubeless valves and sealant if your rims support it, a quality torque wrench for safe installation, and rim tape appropriate for your wheel build.
