R4 DISC Brake Wheelset

At Rs. 1,65,699, the Scope R4 DISC Brake Wheelset is a serious commitment to performance cycling. Built around precision hub engineering and carbon construction, it is designed for riders who demand speed on smooth expressway tarmac and confidence on the rough, unpredictable roads connecting cities like Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai. Disc brakes add all-weather braking assurance that Indian monsoon conditions demand. Cobbled Climbs is the exclusive Indian distributor for Campagnolo in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable rim and reliable hub bearings for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic depth and weight-optimised construction for competitive efforts.

All-rounder. Versatile depth and width for road, gravel, or all-road riding.

Our Take

The Scope R4 DISC is built for riders who want a noticeable performance step-up — whether attacking the Western Ghats above Lonavala, chasing speed on Hyderabad's outer ring road, or simply riding through a Chennai downpour with confidence. Carbon construction keeps weight low where it matters most, while the disc brake standard delivers consistent stopping power regardless of wet roads or long descents. For the price, this is a wheel built for riders who ride seriously.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Wheelset fit means matching three specifications: axle standard (QR or thru-axle with exact dimensions), disc rotor interface (Centerlock or 6-bolt), and cassette body (Shimano HG, SRAM XDR, or Campagnolo). In India's heat, thru-axle setups offer better stiffness and heat dissipation at the rotor. Confirm all three with your frame spec sheet before ordering to avoid return complications.

Compatibility Notes

Disc brake standard — confirm Centerlock or 6-bolt before ordering. Matches modern thru-axle and QR frames. Carbon rim construction requires correct tubeless tyre and sealant setup. Verify cassette body compatibility with your drivetrain. Rim service and bearing replacement schedules should be followed per Scope's guidelines to maintain performance in dusty or wet Indian riding conditions.

Pairs Well With

Complete the build with high-performance road tyres selected for the rim's internal width, a quality tubeless conversion kit with sealant and valves, disc rotors matched to your brake calliper standard, and a precision torque wrench for correct installation. Available with free delivery on orders above Rs. 2,500 and cash on delivery across India.
