Description
At Rs. 1,46,250, the Scope R5 DISC Brake Wheelset is a serious carbon performance upgrade for road cyclists who demand real gains from their equipment. Built for disc brake systems, this wheelset brings precision hub engineering and carbon construction to riders tackling everything from Lonavala switchbacks to long Pune expressway efforts and the technical descents of the Western Ghats. Cobbled Climbs is the exclusive Indian distributor for Campagnolo in India.
Use Cases
Daily training. Durable rim and reliable hub bearings for repeat training use.
Race day. Aerodynamic depth and weight-optimised construction for competitive efforts.
All-rounder. Versatile depth and width for road, gravel, or all-road riding.
Our Take
The Scope R5 DISC is the kind of wheel upgrade that changes how a bike communicates with the road beneath you. For Indian riders dealing with surfaces that shift from glassy tarmac to patchy monsoon-repaired roads within a single ride, the balance of lateral stiffness and vertical compliance this carbon wheelset offers is genuinely meaningful — not just a numbers exercise. If you're serious about performance riding, this is where the money goes.
Sizing for Indian Riders
Wheelset fit is determined by three factors: your frame's axle standard (thru-axle dimensions vary — confirm front and rear), your disc brake rotor mount type (Centerlock or 6-bolt), and your drivetrain's cassette body standard (Shimano HG, SRAM XDR, or Campagnolo). India's heat rarely affects wheel fit, but verify internal rim width suits the tyre width you plan to run on your target roads.
Compatibility Notes
The R5 DISC is built for disc brake road use — confirm your frame accepts disc wheels before ordering. Match thru-axle dimensions precisely. Check cassette body compatibility for your groupset. If running tubeless (recommended for Indian roads), you will need tubeless-compatible tyres, valve stems, and sealant — these are not included. Rotor standard (Centerlock or 6-bolt) must match your existing rotors or account for an adapter.
Pairs Well With
Complete your R5 DISC setup with quality road tubeless tyres suited to the rim's internal width, tubeless sealant and valve kit for India's varied road surfaces, disc brake rotors in your preferred standard, and a precision torque wrench for correct installation of thru-axle and rotor bolts.
