Rainproof Essential Case

India's riding calendar throws everything at you — monsoon downpours on the Western Ghats, scorching 35°C+ heat through Pune's summer roads, and gritty tarmac across Rajasthan. When you need your essentials dry and accessible, the Rapha Rainproof Essential Case is a compact, dependable companion for rides of any length or ambition.

Our Take

For Indian cyclists tackling Lonavala climbs or multi-day routes through Coorg, keeping your phone, cards, and energy gels dry is non-negotiable. The Rapha Rainproof Essential Case handles monsoon-season riding with genuine confidence. Its compact form fits neatly into a jersey pocket without bulk, and the rainproof construction means you won't be fishing a waterlogged wallet out at a chai stop somewhere past Khandala. A thoughtful, well-made piece from a brand that understands cyclists.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a pocket pouch rather than an apparel item, so standard body sizing does not apply. Focus instead on what you carry — phone size, number of cards, gel count — and check the product dimensions on the page. Indian jersey pockets vary in depth across brands, so confirm the case fits your favourite riding kit before ordering.

Compatibility Notes

The Rainproof Essential Case is designed to slip into a standard rear jersey pocket or sit inside a saddle bag. No mounting hardware required. Works with any cycling jersey featuring a rear pocket. Hand wash with mild soap; avoid machine washing to preserve the rainproof coating over time.

Pairs Well With

Round out your kit with a compact saddle bag for tools and a spare tube, a reliable mini pump, high-energy gels or bars for long rides, and a quality cycling jersey with deep rear pockets to house the case securely on climbs.
