Ray Series Lights Base Mount

The Magicshine Ray Series Lights Base Mount is a dedicated mounting solution for Ray Series lights, designed to keep your light secure and correctly angled across India's varied road surfaces — from Pune's highway stretches to the broken tarmac of Ooty's switchbacks. For riders who swap lights between bikes or need a spare mount, this is a practical, low-cost addition to any setup.

Use Cases

Commuting. Visibility for early-morning and evening rides through Indian traffic.

Group rides. Be-seen lighting for low-visibility conditions on group rides.

Night training. High-output beam for night rides on unlit roads.

Our Take

A mount failure mid-ride is more than inconvenient — on a pre-dawn Western Ghats descent or a monsoon evening commute through Chennai traffic, it's a safety issue. The Ray Series Base Mount gives you a dedicated, purpose-built solution rather than relying on a single mount across multiple bikes. At Rs. 690, it's an easy call for anyone running Magicshine Ray Series lights on more than one bicycle.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a light mount, not an apparel item, so standard body sizing does not apply. What matters is handlebar compatibility — verify your bar diameter before ordering. Indian riders on entry-level bikes often run 25.4mm bars, while performance road and MTB bikes typically use 31.8mm. Check your bar spec before ordering to ensure a secure fit.

Compatibility Notes

Designed specifically for the Magicshine Ray Series light family. Not a universal mount — confirm your Ray Series light model is compatible before purchasing. Inspect the mount periodically if riding on rough surfaces like those found on Leh approaches or Kolkata's older city roads, where vibration can loosen fittings over time.

Pairs Well With

Complete your lighting setup with a Ray Series front light, a Magicshine rear light for full road visibility, a helmet mount adapter for trail riding around Coorg or Lonavala, and a USB charging cable to keep everything topped up between rides.
