Reflective Bartape

Bar tape is one of cycling's most underrated contact points — it shapes grip, comfort, and control on every ride. The BTP Reflective Bartape brings an additional dimension to this equation: visibility. Whether you're riding pre-dawn in Pune, navigating Hyderabad's evening traffic, or finishing a late loop in Delhi's outer ring roads, being seen matters as much as feeling comfortable. Cobbled Climbs is the exclusive Indian distributor for Campagnolo in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Comfortable reach and bar shape for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic profile and compact drop for competitive fit.

Long endurance rides. Multiple hand positions for fatigue management on full-day rides.

Our Take

India's riding conditions demand grip through sweaty palms, cushioning over broken tarmac, and now — with the BTP Reflective Bartape — passive visibility when light is low. Reflective detailing catches headlights during early-morning rides around Chennai's ECR or Ahmedabad's industrial corridors. The tape addresses a genuine safety gap that standard bartapes ignore. For riders who log hours before sunrise or after sunset, this is a considered, practical choice.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Bartape fits virtually all standard drop handlebars. Indian riders with sweaty palms in 35°C+ summer heat should ensure a firm, overlap-rich wrap for grip security. If you ride with thicker gloves during cooler Leh or Ooty descents, a single layer wrap preserves bar feel. No sizing variation by rider height — one roll wraps a full drop bar set.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with standard drop handlebars across road and gravel disciplines. Works with Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo shifter setups. Wrap over existing bar end plugs for a clean finish. During monsoon season, inspect adhesive backing periodically — high humidity can loosen tape ends. Replace annually for daily riders or when grip feel degrades.

Pairs Well With

Complete your cockpit contact points with cycling gloves for added grip and comfort, handlebar end plugs for a clean finish, a stem for dialling in your riding position, and cycling-specific hand cream or chamois cream for long endurance days on rough Indian roads.
