Road

The Bastion Road is a bespoke titanium and carbon frameset built for riders who refuse to compromise. As a pre-order, made-to-measure frame, it represents one of the most considered purchases a cyclist can make — a foundation that will define thousands of kilometres across Indian climbs, city roads, and everything in between. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Time in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

At Rs. 13,90,000, the Bastion Road is not an impulse purchase — it is a deliberate choice. The titanium and carbon construction offers a combination of durability and ride feel that suits India's varied conditions particularly well: enough compliance for the broken tarmac on Pune-Lonavala descents, enough stiffness for committed efforts on the Western Ghats or the long, flat roads outside Ahmedabad. This is a frame you build a relationship with over years.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Bastion's bespoke nature means sizing is a conversation, not a chart lookup. Indian riders tend to have shorter torsos relative to leg length compared to European averages, which affects reach requirements significantly. Share your inseam, height, and riding style when placing your pre-order. A professional bike fit in Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, or Delhi before finalising geometry is strongly recommended and worth every rupee.

Compatibility Notes

Confirm bottom bracket standard (BSA, PF30, T47), headset specification, seatpost diameter, and brake mount type at the time of your bespoke order. Tyre clearance should be discussed upfront — Indian road surfaces reward frames that accept wider tyres. Contact Cobbled Climbs for full build consultation before committing components.

Pairs Well With

Complete your Bastion Road build with a quality electronic or mechanical groupset, a carbon wheelset suited to Indian road conditions, a performance saddle matched to your sit-bone width, and a well-fitted carbon cockpit. Each component selection shapes the final ride character of this bespoke frame.
