Road PRO S Wet Inserts

Wet roads demand dependable stopping power. The Jagwire Road PRO S Wet Inserts are replacement brake pad inserts engineered specifically for wet-weather rim braking, offering consistent modulation when monsoon downpours, humid Ghat descents, and slick city streets push your braking system to its limits. A budget-friendly upgrade that makes a genuine difference on every rainy ride across India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

At Rs. 360, the Jagwire Road PRO S Wet Inserts are one of the smartest, lowest-cost upgrades a rim-brake rider can make before monsoon season. Riders tackling Lonavala or Khandala descents on wet roads will notice the difference immediately — sharper initial bite, more predictable modulation, and less brake fade compared to dry-compound inserts. Selected for Indian conditions where four months of heavy rain make wet-specific compounds genuinely necessary.

Sizing for Indian Riders

These are insert-only pads designed to slot into compatible Jagwire Road PRO S cartridge holders — check that your existing brake holders accept replaceable inserts before ordering. Sizing here is about caliper compatibility, not body size. Most standard dual-pivot road calipers found on Indian-market bikes accept these inserts, but confirm holder brand and slot dimensions against Jagwire specifications.

Compatibility Notes

Designed for alloy rims only — never use on carbon rims, where incorrect compound choice causes dangerous heat buildup and rim damage. These wet inserts work with Jagwire Road PRO S cartridge pad holders. Confirm your brake calipers accept the cartridge-insert system before purchasing. Clean rims with isopropyl alcohol before fitting; contaminated rims drastically reduce braking performance.

Pairs Well With

For the best wet-weather rim-brake setup, consider pairing with fresh brake cables and housing, rim brake calipers, handlebar tape for grip in wet conditions, and a cable tension tool for precise brake adjustment. A complete drivetrain cable refresh alongside new inserts is ideal at the start of monsoon season.
